  1. Lovely PoV and careful framing. The fact that she seems not to be aware of you and your camera is great. Perhaps you had your camera on the desk? I’ve really enjoyed catching up on your fine work Peter. I shall be in Gujarat and Rajasthan in October- November.
    All the best, John.

    1. Thanks John! Very glad to hear your plans; that sounds like a brilliant trip and a nice amount of time too! Im sure there will be more than a few train rides to be enjoyed. A perfect environmemt for the mirrorless systems we enjoy too!

        1. Hi John. A friend of mine just sent me a development that might be very good news. The Indian govt have just extended their e-tourist visa to 36 countries including the UK. I read about this a while ago and it means that you don’t need to get a £92 visa before going. You just turn up in India pay a much smaller fee at immigration for a short stay tourist visa. Have a look on google for the details!

        2. Your comment comes as I’m tearing my hair out over the totally crass system of online application. The system crashes and I’ve been unable to book an appointment on line. I will check it out. You’ve made my day with this info, so thanks Peter, great news.

  2. Great shot, Peter. The background gives us a hint of the material conditions surrounding the girl while that intense expression gives us a hint of her determination. Together, they make this a powerful portrait.
