    1. It most definitely is amazing. This scene and many like it are precious jewels that show themselves only briefly and occasionally. Within a few minutes of this picture, the sun had slipped below the horizon and it was dark (and very very cold!!)

    1. Janice I did indeed see this in person and rushed to get this (please see my above replies)
It was freezing here all this week at around -5 degrees-ish and I had cold fingers but worth it. (today its up to +8 degrees and raining!! – Typical British weather! :/
Glad you like the layout – I guess its nice to have a change every now and then.
Hope you’re well Janice – I’m heading over to your cafe now!!

      1. Ah, I just read the other comments and now I know how lucky you were to get this shot in time! Totally worth it :)
And I’m doing alright, thanks Pete!

    1. Thanks Jocelyne for commenting :)
The sunset was at its most brilliant to the left of the picture (click for a bigger view) the colours that nature creates are beyond amazing. I didn’t alter saturation in this picture only contrast slightly. It came and went in only a few minutes – lucky I was there!
