    1. It really was as magnificent as I’d been expecting. It’s a shocking journey by road to get to it – poverty everywhere of unbelievable proportion right to the gates. Once inside it was absolute magic. Our hotel there was palatial in the extreme but outside the walls, again, extreme contrast. Fantastic experience!!

    1. Janice this building is truly amazing! I’m unusually going to write a post about this in words soon – please look out for it. Hope you’re well and back into routine after your trip!!

      1. I’ll definitely look out for it, Pete! You can even send me a heads-up as soon as it’s up! :)
I’m doing well and definitely well back into my routine. camping trip coming up soon though! :D

    1. Maria yes I made it!! A journey to definitely remember!! 4 hours from Delhi by road on national highway 2 – I won’t be forgetting that in a hurry! Glad you like the picture!

    1. Hey Leanne thanks. It was a very difficult day to be honest as I had the kids and my 71 year old mum to look after and keep an eye on and it was extremely hot too!! I was determined to try and find some thing unusual in a much photographed place – I have some more to post a bit later too! Glad you like the image!

    1. Really sorry it has taken a while to reply. I very much appreciate your comment! :) I have some more of the Taj that are a bit more recognisable too that I might post. Its well worth the long trip there but definitely avoiding the summer months next time!!! ( way too hot! )

  1. A different angle and a well directed click from you Peter. The Taj is mesmerizing,I stood speechless four hundred feets away at the opposite arched entrance, doubting to be real..It leaves an emotional long lasting impression.
