The composition, tones, light and the little boy passing through, almost chased by the fans – so beautifully real and abstract at the same time!
Hi Patti, this is one of those pictures I hesitate over a little, I’m trying to see and look at things differently lately. Glad you like it :)
Beautiful! The framing the focus, nicely composed! :)
Hi Richard and many thanks; it’s a bit of a shame the fans weren’t turning, it was ONLY 33 degrees outside!! :)
Your photo’s make me sit and stare,… perhaps not ‘seeing’ all that’s there, sadness lingers with bare stone walls, fans not whirring, not stirring the echoes, or how the past calls.
:) Pen it’s as if you have an instinct about this place because it has an interesting history. It was a huge self contained complex built for the Indian Pharmaceutical industry many years ago with housing and a big school for the workers. It was abandoned and left derelict for many years only recently being turned back into a really well run school for very poor children locally. I love to hear your beautiful words Pen!
very good photo Peter…very nicely composed and framed I must say….
Thank you Kavita :) I love fans like these and although ac is really comfortable, I’m a bit nostalgic for fans!
